Fall Walking Challenge: Return to Armskirk

Calling all adventurers! Embark on an epic journey through the heart of summer and autumn! Join us for a thrilling walking challenge as we retrace the ancient path from Flat Lick Falls back to the Emerald Folk village of Armskirk. 

The story begins:

As adventurers exit the portal from the Faewyld they are welcomed with a different scenery….

An indifferent feeling that they have been misplaced….

The small saplings are much longer, the young boy guarding the boundary to the Falls is now gone and a decayed campsite remains. You get a feeling of lost time.

Rules:

• Duration: 8/12- 9/22 (subject to change)

• 1st post: Character name: Team Guild/house/ Solo adventurer, copy of your character sheet if possible. 

• 2nd post: This will be proof of your miles. 

• If an adventurer or party does not know the layout of the land a map will be provided but it will cost you 3 miles for your first post. After 3 miles are posted a map will be given to you DM. 

• This walking challenge is different from the last one: You aren’t being chased, players make choices that will decide outcomes, and Common practices/customs still matter. Roleplaying is a must as well! 

• Assign a leader(name they go by on FB/discord) to your party so I may tag them for important posts. 

• Please be aware of tagged posts. These are important for you and your party.

• Certain mile markers have important events. If a players/team’s miles move them past this mile marker they will be paused until a decision/roleplaying by the players/team has been made. Those miles will be counted towards the players/teams next move. 

• An excel sheet link with miles will be posted for transparency. 

• Players earn in-game items throughout the challenge but to keep them you must make it to Armskirk. Event ends the last day at midnight. 

• Any in game items earned during this challenge will be available at the October event. Players will not know what they received until the end of the event. A list will be provided to the solo adventurer/Party leader. Good luck and have fun!

• Reward will be 1 XP per party member and possible gained information.
